Hello, in case you don’t know who I am ( which is very likely ), I am narrator78. On this website, I am planning to share many pieces of different writings in the long-run. For example, creative writing, personal thoughts on certain issues, and maybe a few academic writings related to economics and other subjects will be posted on this blog.
My top three favourite animals would be mongooses ( a type of weasels ), corn snakes and bush dogs. Fun fact. Bush dogs are animals that are capable of running backward as fast as when running straightforward. They always moves in packs, similar to some teenagers. When alone, bush dog are often preyed upon by other animals, which are on the higher section of animal hierarchy; however, when bush dogs are in packs, there is a role reversal and they become the predators. Therefore, by looking at bush dogs, we can argue whether cooperation makes us stronger or weaker.
My top three favorite novels are ‘The Great Gatsby’ by F. Scott Fitzgerald, ‘The Catcher in the Rye’ by J.D. Salinger, and ‘Yahari Ore no seishun Rabukome wa Machigatte Iru’ by Watari Wataru.
One interesting thing about ‘The Catcher in the Rye’ is that it is based on the author’s adolescence. If you did not already know, surprisingly, there is no movie version. Numerous movie directors thought of making it, but they decided not to because they believed that the only actor, who can perfectly perform the role of Hollen Caulfield, the main character, would only be the author himself. J.D. Salinger refused to participate, for he knew that a movie will not be capable of entirely capturing his messages.
All of the aforementioned focus on artificiality of human relationships. For example, the marriage between Tom and daisy would be the appropriate evidence in ‘The Great Gatsby’. Although their relationship might seem lovely on the surface, both of them are basically cheating on each other.
By looking at relationships between characters in the three novels, we understand that the authors want to show us that not many relationships reflect their true natures, After reading them all, I began to question the possibility of obtaining genuine relationships in our society. In genuine relationship, people act as who they truly are. Later on, I will go into more depth for this topic
I like to listen to EDM, J-pop, waltz, classical music, glitch hop. If you can recommend me any good music, I would really appreciate it. As long as it is neither American nor Korean pop. I just do not find myself attracted to them.
Any question or comment on my works will be appreciated.
